Comprehensive. Multidisciplinary. Family-Centered.

Navigating questions about neurodivergence can feel overwhelming. At The Autism Resource Center, we partner with families to provide clear, thoughtful autism and ADHD evaluations that help make sense of concerns and guide next steps.

We collaborate closely with parents and other professionals to understand each child’s unique profile and learning needs. ARC supports families through the process of moving from questions and uncertainty to meaningful understanding, practical recommendations, and a clear path forward.

Clarity. Support. A Way Forward.

Everyone experiences the world in their own way, and understanding that perspective is essential to meaningful support. Questions about neurodivergence can arise at any stage of life, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to assessment, learning, or support.

At ARC, we provide thoughtful, individualized evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, grounded in clinical expertise and collaboration. Our work focuses on understanding each person’s unique strengths, needs, and learning profile.

From assessment through next steps, ARC supports individuals and families with clear guidance, practical recommendations, and collaborative solutions that respect both current needs and long-term goals.

Services

ARC offers diagnostic evaluations and parent-centered guidance designed to support individuals and families across the lifespan. Services are grounded in clinical expertise and collaboration to provide clarity, direction, and practical next steps.

Neurodivergent diagnostic evaluations

Diagnostic Evaluations

When questions about neurodivergence arise, a diagnostic evaluation can help clarify concerns and support informed decision-making. ARC provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations focused primarily on characteristics of autism spectrum disorder, while also considering broader developmental, behavioral, and learning profiles as clinically appropriate.

Evaluations integrate information from multiple sources, including developmental history, standardized rating scales, record review, and behavioral observation, to develop a thoughtful and individualized understanding of each person’s strengths and support needs.

ARC collaborates with medical providers and other professionals to ensure evaluations are well-informed, coordinated, and clinically meaningful.

Parent & Family Support for Neurodivergence

Parent & Family Collaboration and Support

ARC provides parent and family collaboration and support to help families better understand and support neurodivergent individuals. Services focus on building confidence in everyday communication, routines, and decision-making.

Support is individualized and may include guidance related to communication, regulation, life skills, and navigating next steps following diagnosis or diagnostic clarification.

Parent and family collaboration is appropriate for families supporting individuals with neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, and related developmental or learning differences. Services may be provided as a follow-up to a diagnostic evaluation or as a standalone support.

Collaboration & Support

Across two 30-minute sessions, ARC works with families to review strengths, current concerns, and priorities, and to provide practical guidance related to evaluation options, school supports, therapy services, and community resources.
